Rooted in Greek mythology, Ampelos was a lover and best friend to the Greek mythological god, Dionysus.
Upon his tragic death, Dionysus transformed his body into the first grapevine that was used to make wine for the very first time.
Thousands of years later, we continue to delight in this incredible product that proves to be timeless and meant to be savored and shared with friends and family.
Our appreciation of wine through the lens of the PNW is but a small slice of its long, storied history.
We met in January 2015 and have shared our passion for wine with each other and our close friends ever since.
We believe that wine has the unique ability to connect us to each other, to the people who produce it, and to the land where it’s grown.
The relationships that we’ve built in our community have been integral to our wine journey and continue to push us to learn more about this fascinating product every day.
Our love of travel inspires us to seek out new wines and wine experiences and bring them back to share with you – our friends.
We look forward to hosting you soon!
